A stormy night at the old Beacon Point lighthouse, now a seaside data station. At 23:40 its forecasting system takes over the lamp, the lead engineer is nowhere to be found and the station is in lockdown. Your team has 45 minutes to work out what happened and get the light running before the launch window closes.
Your company is the night crew hired to run tonight’s launch at the station. When the lamp goes wrong and the station locks down, it is up to your team to find out why and to bring the light back before the window closes.
The team moves through the Keeper’s Cottage, the Server Gallery, the Forecast Lab and the Lantern Room and its balcony.
No one can finish it alone: the puzzles are spread around and many need two or more players at once.
Some of the crew search the keeper’s cottage while others work on the tower door. Talking is how the clues come together.
The station’s documents are voiced, so there is less reading and more doing: one player listens or reads aloud while another works the lock.
Carry the storm-signal shapes up the lantern stair and raise them on the harbor staffs outside.
Turn the great lens and send the lighthouse beam across the night sea. Everyone in the game sees it move.
At the end two players on two floors pull their levers together, on a count over the radio.
Give us your company’s website. We take your logo, colors and name and build them into the game: your company is the night crew, with your brand in the world and your name in the story. Your brand is always on the heroes’ side, never the villain’s.
