Halloween night, 1926: six guests never left the party at Hollowmere House. A century later your team comes back to hold the séance that sets them free, before the ballroom clock strikes midnight. Hands together on the talking board, and keep an eye on the figures in the gallery: they move when nobody is looking.
Your company is the Lantern Society, in your logo and colors, on a stormy night in a candlelit mansion. The séance only works together, and the figures in the gallery are best kept in sight.
There are a few well-timed jump scares. Gentle mode turns them all off and keeps the same puzzles, so you can book it for any team: set it for everyone when you book, or each player can switch it on for themselves.
The team moves through the foyer and grand stair, the parlor, the music room, the Gallery of Wax and Cloth, the east corridor, the doctor’s study, the nursery and the ballroom.
No one can finish it alone: the puzzles are spread around and many need two or more players at once.
The whole team steers the planchette together: it moves where everyone pulls.
Two players light the séance candles at the same moment.
The wax figures in the gallery move only when nobody is looking, so some players keep watch while others work.
A portrait “watches” one player, who reads a line the others cannot see and has to tell them.
Hold the dancers with your gaze from different corners while teammates do two tasks at once.
