Questions

How do you host a virtual holiday party for work?

Pick a date early, choose one main game that fits your group size, send one link in the invite, and leave time around it for a welcome, a word from your leaders and the awards. With our games you can run it yourself (self-play or the automatic host) or have a live host from our team.

What games can a remote team play at a virtual holiday party?

For the whole company: a holiday trivia show, every player on their own laptop or phone, teams at their own tables. For teams of 4 to 8: a 45-minute story escape game. For up to 36 people who like a bit of sport: Office Olympics, with Ski Jump, Axe Throwing and Curling.

How long should a virtual holiday party be?

About an hour suits most teams. Our trivia show takes about 30 minutes (45 to 60 with a live host), the story games 45 minutes and Office Olympics about 30, which leaves time for a welcome and the awards.

What works for a large group?

Holiday Trivia Night: from about 10 people to 300 in one show, at tables of about 6 with their own voice and video. The story games also scale: any number of teams of 4 to 8 play at the same time.

Is it inclusive of every holiday, not only Christmas?

The Holiday Trivia questions are family-safe and include a round on how countries around the world celebrate; the story games have no holiday content at all, so they suit any team.

How much does a virtual holiday party cost?

Trivia Night: $14 per person self-hosted ($9 above 100 people), from $199, or $29 per person with a live host, from $399. Story games: $19 per person self-play, from $199, or $29 per person with a live host, from $399. Your company's branding is included.

How far ahead should we book?

Self-hosted trivia and self-play story games are ready right after payment. A live host: at least 3 days ahead. Custom trivia questions: at least 7 days ahead. December is the busiest month for team parties, so pick your date early.

Can we use Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams?

Yes. The games run in the browser next to your call, and they also have their own built-in voice and video per team or table.

Plan your holiday party.
